have you discovered my new group on Ravelry?
it’s called ‘laughing purple goldfish designs’ and here is the direct link
the group is a place for like minded souls to chat about their crafting experiences, sharing their success stories… and their disappointments learning experiences
chat about the projects you are working on… ask for ideas or assistance… share your latest discoveries…
my ‘vision’ for this group… was to bring together all the wonderful people I have met through my blog and on ravelry, people who enjoy the idea of WORKING WITH WHAT YOU HAVE and RECYCLING and EXPERIMENTING with a variety of colours, textures and fibre types… to bring all of you together in the one group, so that we can inspire one another… bounce ideas around… and share our love of crafting, and our knowledge with one another
in addition to the chat, there will be the opportunity to participate in challenges… I’m mindful of including all crafters in our challenges – so rather than having a KNITalong or a CROCHETalong which will exclude some members, I would aim for a more general CRAFTalong which allows everyone to participate… you can knit, crochet, sew, macrame, embroider, paint, carve… or combine all of these techniques in the one project!
so what are you waiting for? come and join in the chat (or even just eavesdrop if that’s what you’d rather do)

I love the new group!
I really love that you are willing to accept all artforms.
I haven’t done alot of recycled projects but you really do inspire me.

thanks so much! it really is exciting to me when I find out that some of my readers here are teens… I wish that all this online craft community type stuff had been around when I was younger (ahhh…..when I was a girl…) because it’s always so inspiring to see what others are up to… enjoy!
