I know, I know… it’s been yet another long and unexplained absence!

Couldn’t resist going back to the beach for another little holiday before the kids go back to school. The weather was magnificent, lots of time spent at the beach… enjoying the sand, surf and sun…

Best of all – the school holidays are almost over! WOO-HOO!

It’s been fun, but it needs to come to an end – really… truly… IT IS TIME…

That little pig sty is my craft room… and I can hardly get in the door!

So… once the kids are back at school… I have a job to do, don’t I? A big, big, cleaning up job.

Do you remember the rhyme which goes along the lines of…

there was a little girl

who had a little curl

right in the middle of her forehead…

and when she was good

she was very, very good…

but when she was bad, she was HORRID!

I think that I might be the little girl in that rhyme. Except for the curl part. But when I am good… my craft room looks so perfect and wonderful, and it’s inspiring just to peek in the door. Mind you… when I am bad, I am HORRID… and the room looks like the photo above.

The frustrating part, is that it is ONE or THE OTHER. I honestly think I would love to settle for a happy medium, where things are tidy but not perfect. But I don’t seem to be able to achieve that. I seem to either care too much about how it looks… or else, I just don’t care at all!!!
